Attractions:

Mt. Gretna offers summer concerts, plays, cultural programs, craft classes, children's activities, lake swimming and boating, plus biking and hiking trails.

 

Enjoy the historic "Jigger Shop" for ice cream, the roller rink, miniature golf, the historic house tours, and the juried art show.

 

Other nearby attractions include golfing, Hershey Park, Renaissance Fair, Cornwall Iron Furnace, wineries, etc.

 

Restaurants:

A number of restaurants, a dinner theater, and a pizza shop are all in the historic area.

 

History:

The two original areas of Mt. Gretna founded in the 1890's are "The Camp Meeting" and "The Pennsylvania Chautauqua".  The Camp Meeting area has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior.  

 

Two of the Hoyt cottages "The Victorian" and "The Lodge" are in the Camp Meeting.  The third cottage "The Park" is in the Chautauqua.
